The construction of these headphones is on the cheap side, but perfectly fine and lightweight as long as you take care of them. I was less than impressed with the sound quality when played through my MP3 player, but when I played them through my home receiver they came to life. The sound quality is very good and they play so loudly your ears will probably start to bleed after a half hour or so. BE CAREFUL PLAYING LOUD MUSIC.
way better than my old sonly dj ones. these are more rich in sound ad better on bass.only one think that would of made it better would be a volume adjuster on it. so i can adjust on the fly
i love the sony headphones, they have high quality sound. is a complete different way of music.
Ok look these are not the best out there, but for $20 plus shipping you can not beat them period. To a real audiophiles ears you can tell the difference but otherwise you might not.Overall if you are contemplating buying these GO FOR IT. The constuction is basically all plastic with the head crown having a good amount of flexibility to them.
For home or personnal use these will deliver. The ear pieces are soft and comfortable and can be worn for hours comfortably but I can not see the thin cheap vinyl material that covers them lasting too long with frequent use(This is disclosed on the packaging so you really cant blame SONY for it). They deliver great highs along with lows for full size headphones.
They are lightweight but they are a bit on the bulky side which really doesn't bother me. I really have not had these maxed out but got them pretty loud and they held up with minimal distortion. If you want to put these down you can find reasons to but for the money they speak for themselves.
The sound mode selector switch from music to movie makes the slightest amount of difference in providing deeper bass. You should not be disappointed as I am not.
So far I am very pleased with these headphones, I did have to buy an additional extension cable to make the cord long enough. For the price, I recommend them.
